My name is JT and I am currently a post-grad student at the Department of War Studies at King’s College London for 2016/2017. Originally from Sydney (Australia), I worked for a couple of years after graduating with degrees in Economics and International relations and decided to become another Aussie in London (and get my MA too).
I am interested in politics, security and political issues in East Asia, South East Asia and the Middle East, but I also love running, rugby union, coffee and ways to save money. So, in a nutshell, this blog will probably be about international security, sport and ways to save money… and things which interest me generally.
Whether it be on twitter, browsing the news or talking with friends and family, i’ve noticed two themes really coming through – perhaps due to my worldview. The first is international issues, like war and terrorism, and the second is money and affordability. While I’m definitely not claiming to be an expert, I wanted to share my knowledge and experiences in the hope it may be of use to someone – so i started this blog.
